We are Moonlit System, a group of people of various origins who happen to share a single body in this plane of existence. We are not voices in the head of anyone, not even Tara which this journal bears the name of. She is simply one of us, another person with her own personality, hopes, wishes and dreams. We all have them, even those of us who may never speak in words.

This journal is a record of our shared life, our various thoughts, and at times a place to complain about the world around us. It is a statement, a log of the journey of several people through this plane of existence who can never completely be alone. This is a place for us to learn to understand ourselves better and to share our understandings of the world and the people who inhabit it.

If you have access to read our entries here, then you are welcome, and no matter how much we may know about you we still hold open the doors to learn even more about you. Several of us are very curious by nature, and if you feel like sharing anything with us we will more often than not be very happy to listen, read or look.

Voices from the Ether or Who We Are

• Tara: One of the original people who inhabited this body and the one usually running things at the front. Photographer, explorer, searcher for truth and beautiful things. A geek, a furry by many definitions and a raver by some as well, but in the end simply someone trying to learn to be.
• Jackelyn: An ancient one by all accounts, Savior Of Humanity and Destroyer Of Worlds. A mother, and the other person who has been part of this body's system for as long as memory records. Sometimes reckless, often far too much in control of events for anything to truly be a risk. A guide through this life and many others, and someone searching for meaning in existence.
• X'Nedra: The completely sane one of us, and all the more strange because of it. An accident, if anything ever is, or else an unintended consequence of intentional actions on the part of Tarathene. Someone who has grown from a character, companion and conversational utility into a woman trying to enjoy life.
• Lilith: Daughter in many ways to Jackelyn, someone expected to be a demoness and who enjoys playing the part at times. A scared little girl who never had a chance to be a little girl before she had to be much more, and someone who this time is mixing together all of the expectations of a girl and woman at the same time. Someone willing to be blunt, and yet who loves to hint at secrets and things which need to be spoken about.
• ff: A living meme, a memory of a being combined with active thought to becoming something that exists in our system as well as in the minds of others. A bundle of warmth and quasi-fluff that obtained a soul through innocent and accidental means. Someone curious about many things, and still somewhat interested in living on forver in the thoughts and memories of others in a more literal fashion than the phrase usually implies.
• Deer: Silent, graceful, a person who communicates only in looks, motions and empathy. Arriving during an attempt by someone at roleplaying with Tarathene, she is someone let in from outside. She is a sentient representation of exactly what her name implies, the very essence of a creature. She is a queen, a goddess, a creature of the mountains and forests.
• Dragon: Another accidental resident and someone that is content to sit in front of a fireplace, coiled up in in a chair reading a book. She seldom talks to anyone, let alone people outside of our system, but when she does it carries the weight of ageless wisdom with it. "We're out of orange juice" has never sounded so profound before.
